Best Natural Spring Lip Stains 2017
It's Spring 2017 and with the new season upon us, we at CLEAR SKIN MINERALS are always trying to find ways to spice up our makeup palettes in order to reinvent and enhance our appearance by adding a little extra glamour with brighter colors.
Following the dark and moody-matte lip applications of winter, we're more than ready to try out brighter and more vibrant lipstick tones into our everyday cosmetic rituals so if you're desperate to find new, fresh and colorful lip colors for Spring, you should give our latest natural lip stain creations a try and flatter your skin tone while you're at it.
In order to discover what your natural skin tone is, examine the color of the veins on the inside of your wrist. If they're clearly blue, you have a cool skin tone; if the veins appear more green, you have a warm skin tone. For lip colors and stains, it's most important to figure out your dominant undertone: blue (cool tone) or yellow (warm tone).

SUN-STRIPPING IS THE NEW "STROBING" FOR 2017- HOW TO DO IT RIGHT!
SUN STRIPPING is a new BRONZING TECHNIQUE that makes you look as though you've been hanging out on the beach for a few weeks as opposed to working the days away under those those horrible and ghostly office ultra-violet light bulbs that tend to give most migraine headaches.
SUN-STRIPPING is a refreshing and natural new way to apply your bronzing powder and our opinion, we think it looks so much better than the traditional bronzing techniques that we've seen and used in the past.
Simply put, use a contouring/blush brush and just lightly brush on a matte bronzing powder and blend your bronzing powder from cheek to cheek (all the way up to the side temples) and across the middle bridge of the nose for this sexy, sun-kissed look.
Always use a matte bronzing powder if possible and one that doesn't appear too gold or too orange. You want to use a bronzing powder that looks as natural as possible when creating this look.
Gently bronze your face across only the high points of the cheeks and nose where the sun would naturally highlight and tan your face but be careful not to blend the bronzer ALL OVER the face because you want to keep the "strip-line" in tact for the most natural result. You can also add a few faux freckles ( if you don't already have them) ---as freckles go perfect with this look and are going to be really popular this year.
You can use a bobby-pin to dab the ends into a matte face or eye shadow powder (one that is only a little darker than your natural skin tone) and dab onto the cheeks and nose and under the eyes for a naturally sun-freckled look.
Too many freckles? Use a cotton swab or Q-Tip to remove any excess freckles and finish off with a nude setting powder or matte finishing veil to control excess oil and set the look for all day wear.
If you're feeling adventurous, try different color powders for your freckles as "rainbow freckles" will also be a trend that you will see in 2017. This returning trend from the 80's gives me hope that makeup fashions really ARE slowly returning to "NUDE & NATURAL" very soon!

Makeup Concealer has been one of my very best products and seldom ceases to please all of my clients at some point or another.
It can be difficult to create the perfect makeup concealer ----as mixing and melting are a little more tricky than you might think and I've been working on a full coverage concealer formula that covers and blends well while giving you the correct skin color tone.
Some makeup artists believe there's only one way to apply certainmakeup products-- but I hope to change some minds on that ----and give you other ideas on how to make your organic makeup work better for you!
HOW TO APPLY CONCEALER:
When I was playing with makeup in the 80's we used face makeup concealer in a totally different way. I constantly read up on current makeup trends and tutorials and I find that most makeup artists and beauty bloggers insist on applying the concealer --"after" --the mineral powder makeup or liquid to powder foundation is applied to the face.
I have another great technique that I would love for you to think about.
Give it a try the next time you apply your makeup, just to see if this process works better for you. ☺
